摘要: This paper proposes a model to predict the energy consumption of H.264/AVC intra-only based encoder designed for wireless video sensor networks (WVSNs). Such is great interest in an energy-constrained context like WVSN, where streams are processed prior transmission. In fact, accounting both processing's and transmission's consumed energies allows optimization global consumption. The proposed predicts on considered Quantization Parameter (QP) Frame Rate (FR) values. generic form this enables it any encoder. Simulation results demonstrate accuracy model, that validated under different resolutions, QP FR, with average prediction error 4%.
