摘要: Alcohol is one of the most widely consumed and abused substances, a major factor in many alcohol-related diseases, incidents impaired driving, crimes. In this letter, we develop mechanistic model for alcohol metabolism human body based on dynamic parsimonious flux balance analysis technique. The developed whole metabolic contains two main mechanisms ethanol body, namely, oxidative non-oxidative mechanisms. able to demonstrate effect variations biochemical kinetics associated with dehydrogenase enzyme, gender differences, physiological properties such as age, weight, height, meal clearance from body. Simulation results show that predictions are consistent vivo studies. letter indicate proposed modeling approach may open door new opportunities area nutrition research personalized medicine since it accounts information related
