摘要: The hamster oviduct secretes a high molecular weight antigen that belongs to the family of glycoproteins known as oviductins. In present study, using immuno-electron microscopy, we examined location this oviductin-1 (Hm Ov-1) in oviductal oocytes and early embryos up blastocyst stage. immunoreactive pattern Hm Ov-1 changes markedly during embryo development. prior fertilization, was associated exclusively with zona pellucida. Following immunolabeling detected perivitelline space over plasma membrane 2-cell, 4-cell, 8-cell well young blastocysts. change accompanied by formation an abundant number coated pits, endocytic vesicles, multivesicular bodies, lysosomal-like structures which were strongly labeled gold particles. These immunogold-labeled cytoplasmic organelles characteristic endosomal-lysosomal apparatus particularly evident showed decrease close resemblence between flocculent material found matrix blastocysts suggested Ov-1-associated electron-dense, originated from pellucida later endocytosed blastomeres through pits vesicles. detection numerous bodies lysosomal indicated oviductin is eventually degraded. Although exact functional role not known, presence copious amount may be ascribed special relationship particular © 1995 Wiley-Liss, Inc.
