摘要: Cognitive impairment represents an important and often defining component of the clinical syndromes Lewy body disorders: Parkinson's disease dementia with bodies. The spectrum cognitive deficits in these diseases encompasses a broad range features, severity impairment, timing presentation. It is now recognized that dysfunction occurs not only more advanced but also early, untreated patients even those pre-motor syndromes, such as rapid eye movement behavior disorder hyposmia. In recent years, concept mild transitional or pre-dementia state has emerged. This led to much research regarding diagnosis, prognosis, underlying neurobiology disease, raised questions usefulness this its application settings. addition, conundrum whether bodies represent same different entities remains unresolved. Although disorders overlap many aspects their presentations pathophysiology, they differ other elements, cognitive, behavioral, motor symptoms; medication responses; neuropathological contributions. article examines evolution debates controversial issues field using point-counterpoint approaches.
