摘要: Medical devices play a major role in all areas of modern medicine, largely contributing to the success clinical procedures and health patients worldwide. They span from simple commodity products such as gauzes catheters, highly advanced implants, e.g., heart valves vascular grafts. In situ generated are an important family that formed at their site function have distinct advantages. Among them, since they within body, only require minimally invasive procedures, avoiding pain risks associated with open surgery. These also display enhanced conformability local tissues can reach sites otherwise inaccessible. This review aims shedding light on unique features underscore leading trends field, reflected by key developments recently field over last several years. Since uniqueness these stems generation, way is crucial. It because this fact review, medical classified depending whether generation entails chemical or physical phenomena.
