摘要: Purpose: We describe the effects of prostate brachytherapy with or without hormonal therapy, external beam irradiation on gland volume.Materials and Methods: A total 600 men localized cancer underwent 125I (357), 103Pd (118) partial combined (125) brachytherapy. Of 299 (49.8%) received 3 to 9 months which was initiated before implantation. Hormonal therapy consisted luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone agonist plus antiandrogen in 251, 41 flutamide finasteride 7. Prostate volume measurements were made initiation at implantation yearly. Median followup 5.2 years. Associations tested by chi-square analysis.
