摘要: Purpose of review The aim this study was to discuss the most recent research in management cardiovascular disease (CVD) people living with HIV (PLWHIV) a focus on screening, primary and secondary prevention. Recent findings cause CVD PLWHIV is complex multifactorial creates demand for multifaceted approach screening Current risk factors suboptimal, reasons are not clear data still scarce both preventive setting. There no optimal routine tools available accurately detect early subclinical disease; undertreated drugs such as statins aspirin antihypertensives; there programmes that have been shown significantly efficient over time regards improved smoking cessation, increased physical activity diet, reports call intensified HIV-positive women particularly vulnerable subgroup. Summary need further studies investigating barriers factor an prevention women.
