摘要: OBJECTIVES To compare cardiac output measured by oesophageal Doppler and thermodilution monitoring to correlate the output-generated minute distance with in healthy anaesthetised beagle dogs. MATERIALS AND METHODS Prospective experimental study. Six adult dogs were pre-medicated intramuscular acepromazine (0 · 05 mg/kg) methadone (0 · 3 mg/kg). Anaesthesia was induced intravenous propofol (dose-effect) maintained isoflurane oxygen. Simultaneously, a constant rate infusion of dopamine (3 µg/kg/minute) administered prevent hypotension. The distance, outputs assessed at three different end-tidal concentrations (1 · 0, 1 · 3 2 · 0%). RESULTS Correlation between (r2 = 0 · 582) (r2 = 0 · 658) moderately good, but limits agreement above recommended values (±39%, for value up 30%). CLINICAL SIGNIFICANCE Doppler cannot be considered as an alternative method monitor dog.
