摘要: Abstract We demonstrated in vitro that the colonic peristaltic activity is modified dystrophin-deficient mdx mouse indicating a defect enteric nervous system (ENS). Since nitric oxide (NO) has been proposed as putative inhibitory mediator of ENS, here we have examined effects both l -Arginine ( -Arg) and N ω -nitro- -arginine methyl ester -NAME) on distal colon. The motor pattern segment showed irregular waves. -Arg (10 −7 –10 −5 M) induced to slow down. At concentration 10 M, produced hypomotility, characterised by decrease amplitude, frequency ejected fluid volume. Conversely, -NAME elicited hypermotility, this effect being reversed once again subsequent addition -Arg. Interestingly M organ bath led normal progression, an oral aboral direction, 90% This last result strongly suggests exogenous application restores integrative circuits ENS responsible for programming co-ordinating colon mouse.
