摘要: Objectives To assess the impact of overweight on prognosis renal cell carcinoma patients. Patients And Methods A total 2030 patients who underwent surgery for from 1990 to 2011 in three University Medical Centers were included this retrospective analysis. For all patients, height and weight measurements at time diagnosis available review. The median (mean) follow up was 56.6 months (66.0 months). Results A low body mass index significantly associated with poor tumor differentiation, histology, microscopic vascular invasion metastatic disease diagnosis. A lower-than-average surface area – stratified according European average men (1.98 m2) women (1.74 m2) related older age, histological subtype invasion. In addition, a visceral fat calculated subgroup 133 evaluable higher risk advanced (pT3-4 and/or N/M+) tumor-specific 5-year survival rate 71.3, 78.7 80.1%, of, <25, 25–30 ≥30. Multivariate analysis confirmed as an independent prognostic factor. Conclusion Our findings suggest that represents factor patients. Further research should address question why obese people have incidence carcinoma, but same better than other particularly case localized disease.
