Terrestrial ecoregions of North America : a conservation assessment

摘要: A comprehensive assessment of biodiversity in the US and Canada. The authors, scientists with World Wildlife Fund, use a rigorous ecoregion approach, rather than less relevant state-by-state approach. Six chapters present rationale for defining ecoregions analyzing threats to each. From this authors develop conservation agenda set out recommendations preserving restoring continent. Thirteen colour maps provide essential information about each its biodiversity.
