摘要: Dielectric and metallic gratings have been studied for more than a century. Nevertheless, novel optical phenomena fabrication techniques emerged recently opened new perspectives applications in the visible infrared domains. Here, we review design rules resonant mechanisms that can lead to very efficient light–matter interactions sub-wavelength nanostructure arrays. We emphasize role of symmetries free-space coupling structures. present different scenarios perfect absorption, transmission or reflection plane waves nanostructures. discuss issues, experimental achievements emerging
