摘要: Abstract This article summarizes the experience gained from study, siting, design and dimensioning of hybrid power plants in autonomous insular systems Greece. Wind parks photovoltaic stations are employed as RES units, while Pumped Storage Systems (PSS), electrochemical lead acid batteries electrolysis units for hydrogen production alternatively investigated storage units. The examined operation aims either at maximization penetration or demand peak shaving. plants’ is optimized using a criterion annual optimization required investments economic indices. work integrated with an feasibility study each plant. presented this refer to very small size (Agios Efstratios, Castellorizo), (Karpathos–Kasos, Astypalaia), medium (Rhodes, Samos) large (Crete). designates how system affects plant’s synthesis operating algorithm. proved be technically economically feasible, regardless hosting system. sensitivity analysis investments’ indices indicated that produced electricity selling prices can lower than specific costs existing systems. In systems, introduced achieved higher 90% consumption.
