摘要: MOLECULES of tRNA are probably produced by a series alterations the original transcription product cistrons. The nucleotide modifications occur on an unmodified precursor1–8 and there is also suggestive evidence that common 3′ -CCAOH end may be added to precursor, for this sequence seems absent from cistrons9 enzymes which can bring about addition8. Precursor molecules likely have short lifetimes in vivo.
