Controllable preparation, characterization and performance of Cu2O thin film and photocatalytic degradation of methylene blue using response surface methodology

摘要: Abstract Cu2O thin film is prepared using the electrodeposition approach. XRD, XPS, SEM, PL and UV–vis are used to characterize microstructure, morphology optical properties. Response surface methodology employed optimize main influences of photocatalytic degradation, quadratic multinomial mathematical model also established. Photocatalytic degradation process methylene blue studied as well. The results indicate that high-purity with preferential orientation (1 1 1). R2 0.9888 in established model, which better fitness higher significance. optimal conditions obtained. Under this condition, rate can reach over 98.2% 3 h. molecules be decomposed completely. Recycling reveal more than 94.2% within 7 cycles, could still 81.8% after 11 cycles.
