摘要: Objective Vitamin D deficiency is prevalent in obese individuals. 25-hydroxyvitamin [25(OH)D] levels metabolically healthy (MHO) and unhealthy (MUO) adult individuals were examined the relationship between 25(OH)D other clinical parameters was evaluated. Methods This a retrospective chart review of outpatient medical records from Nutrition Weight Management Center at Boston Medical Center. Subjects divided into two groups, MHO MUO, using homeostasis model assessment insulin resistance criteria. Results A total 191 subjects included this analysis. The average body mass index (BMI) 43.0 ± 9.2 kg/m2. Sixty-three (33%) met criteria for MHO. had lower BMI waist circumferences compared to MUO subjects. not significantly different groups (P = 0.242). Overall, there high prevalences vitamin (48.7%) insufficiency (33.0%). inversely correlated with BMI, weight, circumferences, HbA1c but blood pressure, cholesterol, HDL, triglycerides, or LDL. Conclusions In extremely individuals, related metabolic health status degree adiposity.
