摘要: This study presents results regarding the successful cloning of bacterial xylose isomerase gene (xylA) Burkholderia cenocepacia and its functional expression in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The recombinant yeast showed to be competent efficiently produce ethanol from both glucose xylose, which are main sugars lignocellulosic hydrolysates. heterologous xylA enabled a laboratorial strain ferment anaerobically, improving production fermentation medium containing glucose-xylose blend similar that found sugar cane bagasse insertion caused 5-fold increase consumption, over 1.5-fold yield, comparison by WT strain, 24h fermentations, where it was not detected accumulation xylitol. These findings encouraging for further studies concerning B. an industrial strain.
