摘要: Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to validate and apply enrichment diagrams (EDs) determine metal as contamination in the sediments Sepetiba Bay. Design/methodology/approach Through inducted coupled plasma optical emission spectrophotometry, total element (As, Cd, Cu, Ni, Pb Zn) concentrations were assessed for construction EDs comparison with factors (EFs) 65 samples collected Findings Based on EDs, it was observed that around urban area ItaguaiHarbor contaminated Zn. These contaminants expected due industrial discharges into bay activities at ItaguaiHarbor. Originality/value ED successful regarding its ability evaluate inorganic In addition, method able define a proper background sample calculating EFs.
