摘要: More than half of patients receiving prescription medicine for cancer pain have been reported to experience inadequate relief or breakthrough pain. Buccal administration can deliver lipophilic opioids rapidly the systemic circulation through buccal mucosa, limiting gastrointestinal motility and first-pass metabolism. This review updates safety efficacy fentanyl soluble film (FBSF) in with Literature was identified searches Medline (PubMed). Search terms included combinations following: pain, fentanyl, film, pharmacology, kinetics, safety, toxicity. FBSF is an oral transmucosal form citrate developed as a treatment opioid-tolerant cancer. Studies shown that it well tolerated cavity, adequate bioavailability patients. Further studies are warranted evaluate, comparison other short-acting opioids, its management addictive potential economic impact
