摘要: A 2 x 3 factorial experiment was conducted with 24 finishing pigs (Yorkshire [Finnish Landrace Dutch Landrace]) to determine the effects of dietary buffering capacity (BC) and carbohydrate sources on apparent total tract digestibility (TD), N retention, manure characteristics. Twelve these were fitted steered ileo-cecal value cannulas measure ileal (ID) N. Experimental variables two levels BC (High = 600 mEq/kg Low 530 mEq/kg) three carbohydrates (tapioca [28%], soybean hulls [25%], sugar beet pulp [25%]). The achieved by adjusting amounts alkalogenic limestone acidogenic Ca sulfate in diet. Pigs fed twice daily at 2.4 maintenance requirement for metabolizable energy (418 kJ ME/BW(0.75)). Chromic oxide used as an indigestible marker. Feces urine collected over 5 d nutrient balance vitro measurements pH ammonia emission 7 d. No significant interactions between ID, TD, or characteristics observed. Lowering did not affect most nutrients, except a negative impact TD (P 0.015) Mg 0.003). Although all receiving had more acidic (by 0.49 units; P 0.001), from lowered, irrespective source. Carbohydrates affected significantly ID whereas retention remained similar > 0.10). Urinary N:fecal ratios diets tapioca, hulls, 2.09, 1.35, 1.67, respectively. These corresponded (169, 125, 148 mmol/7 d; 0.023). In conclusion, results indicate that acidification presence NSP-rich achieved. However, acidity affected. addition NSP and(or) reduced urinary:fecal N, thereby emission.
