Structure and expression of c- myc and c- fos proto-oncogenes in thyroid carcinomas

摘要: Tumour specimens from 23 patients with thyroid carcinoma, 22 adenoma, 3 Graves' disease, and tissues 8 normal glands were analyzed by Southern blot hybridization for the physical state of c-myc c-fos proto-oncogenes. In 4 patients, both primary tumour lymph node metastases analyzed. No amplification or rearrangement two proto-oncogenes was detected. Total RNAs also Elevated levels 2.4 kb RNA 2.2 found in 13/23 (57%) 14/23 (61%) cancer respectively. High transcripts more frequently carcinomas unfavourable prognosis. Concomitant elevated cancers. 1 out specimen disease 2 glands. 20 adenoma samples tissues. These data indicate that overexpression genes is independent an alteration loci. The high may be associated differentiation these tumours.
