摘要: Malignant melanoma is one of the most aggressive cancers. Several new therapeutic strategies that focus on immuno- and/or targeted therapy have been developed, which entered clinical trials or already approved. This review provides an update prognostic and predictive biomarkers in may be used to improve management patients. Prognostic markers include conventional histopathological characteristics, chromosomal aberrations, gene expression patterns miRNA profiles. There a trend towards multi-marker assays whole-genome molecular screening methods determine prognosis individual Predictive biomarkers, including components signal transduction, developmental transcriptional pathways, can patient response particular treatment combination thereof. The rapid evolution sequencing technologies will change spectrum patients who become candidates for agents, addition create ethical regulatory challenges.
