摘要: Abstract In situ TiB whisker reinforced Ti60 matrix composites (TiBw/Ti60) have been successfully fabricated by reaction hot pressing. The effects of extrusion on microstructure and tensile properties TiBw/Ti60 were investigated. results show that the original equiaxed network as-sintered was extended after deformation, while whiskers had aligned along direction. Moreover, TiBw clusters with higher volume fraction reinforcement can be effectively dispersed deformation. testing reveal a little improvement in strength but remarkable reduction elongation relative to momolithic alloy at room temperature. Both ductility significantly increased subsequent ultimate as-extruded 3.4 vol.% is 21.9% compared 600 °C.
