摘要: Antibody levels specific for capsular polysaccharides of Streptococcus pneumoniae and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) tetanus toxoid were measured in serum samples 386 age-stratified subjects. The study group consists healthy adult blood donors hospitalized children undergoing elective surgery, excluding individuals with a history infection. In children, anti-tetanus antibody displayed two peaks 1.20 IU/ml (20.4 mg/liter) 1.65 (28.1 related to the schedule routine childhood immunization first year at 8 years age. Eighty percent antibodies are immunoglobulin G1 (IgG1) isotype. For pneumococcal polysaccharide (PCP), represent acquisition natural immunity. initial concentration 9.2 mg/liter was low infancy (0.5 1 age) remained until 3 4 age (14.6 mg/liter). During this period PCP almost 100% IgG2 subclass. Thereafter, IgG anti-PCP titers increased steadily (59.5 data intended provide reference ranges aid interpretation determinations clinical setting.
