摘要: Several studies demonstrated that obese subjects have a hyperactive hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and sex steroid hormones been closely related to the regulation of adiposity, either through direct or indirect physiological mechanisms. Allopregnanolone (3α-hydroxy-5α-pregn-20-one; AP) is circulating neuroactive hormone involved in modulation behavioral functions, stress neuroendocrine axis. The aim our study was evaluate basal serum AP levels children. We studied 27 normal weight (NW) 23 overweight (OW) girls. Gonadotropins were assessed all patients. Basal concentrations OW girls significantly higher than NW controls (P=0.013). There no difference found between other gonadal adrenal hormones. Considering pubertal stage, we presented prepubertal ones (P=0.020), dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEAS) with respect girls, patients (P=0.025). DHEAS directly (r=0.31 r=0.54, respectively) body mass index (r=0.29 r=0.34, respectively). In significant positive correlation (r=0.60), A (r=0.72) luteinizing (r=0.64) demonstrated. present demonstrates hypersecreted children adolescent involving concentrations, too. Our data suggest possible role obesity. can also speculate who could manifest emotional problems, part this might act as γ-aminobutyric acid agonist producing anxiolytic-sedative effects.
