摘要: High dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy planning usually involves an iterative process of refining objectives until a clinically acceptable plan is produced. The purpose this two-part study to improve current practice by designing novel inverse algorithm based on multi-criteria optimization (MCO). In the first part, complete Pareto surfaces were approximated and studied for prostate cases. A surface approximation was implemented within framework Inverse Planning Simulated Annealing. 140 cases with proposed MCO algorithm. For each case, represented automatically generating 300 optimal plans, region identified. Thus, 42 000 plans created characterize all addition, relationship between four anchor studied. As result, set polynomial regression models extracted rapidly predict plans. HDR well characterized in study. may help define most relevant solution phase space.
