摘要: Purpose To report a 25-gauge trocar-cannula that enhances wound closure and reduces the incidence of postoperative hypotony. Design Development surgical instruments. Methods A cannula with microvitreoretinal (MVR) blade trocar was constructed. The resistance inserting this compared conventional (Alcon Laboratories; Fort Worth, Texas, USA). Vitreous surgery performed on 55 eyes an oblique sclerotomy incision, results were those from 68 underwent cannula. Results less than temporary hypotony (intraocular pressure [IOP] P = .006, Fisher exact probability test). Conclusions MVR effective in prevention
