摘要: Two types of monofloral Malaysian honey (Gelam and Nenas) were analyzed to determine their antioxidant activities total phenolic flavonoid contents, with without gamma irradiation. Our results showed that both can scavenge free radicals exhibit high antioxidant-reducing power; however, Gelam exhibited higher activity (p < 0.05) than Nenas honey, which is in good correlation (r = 0.9899) its contents. Interestingly, we also noted irradiated honeys have contents compared nonirradiated by Folin-Ciocalteu UV-spectrophotometry methods, respectively. However, HPLC analysis for compounds insignificant increase between honeys. The such as: caffeic acid, chlorogenic ellagic p- coumaric quercetin hesperetin as indicated method found be versus honey. In conclusion, irradiation causes enhanced compounds.
