摘要: Abstract A high-resolution continuum-source atomic absorption spectrometer with a xenon short-arc lamp as the radiation source, compact double echelle monochromator focal length of 302 mm and spectral resolution λ/Δλ≈110 000, UV-sensitive charged-coupled device (CCD) array detector was used to investigate interferences found conventional line-source in determination thallium marine sediment reference materials. transversely heated graphite furnace atomizer unit, samples were introduced form slurries. strong iron line at 276.752 nm, which observed atomization temperatures >2000 °C vicinity resonance 276.787 could be responsible for some low-resolution background correction. The outstanding feature 2 molecule that exhibited pronounced rotational fine structure, is sure main reason interferences. molecular structures removed completely by subtracting model spectrum recorded during KHSO 4 , using least squares algorithm. same results, within experimental error, obtained variety materials ammonium nitrate modifier, ruthenium permanent modifier addition nitrate, without aqueous standards calibration, demonstrating ruggedness method. characteristic mass 15–16 pg Tl obtained, limit detection 0.02 μg g −1 calculated from standard deviation five repetitive determinations HISS-1, lowest content.
