摘要: Competence of two apple rootstocks M. 9 and 26 for in vitro shoot proliferation was appraised using a miscellany carbon sources i.e., sorbitol, sucrose, glucose mannitol which were employed @ 0, 5, 15, 25, 35 45 g l -1 . The most auspicious outcome achieved by sorbitol (T9) being the optimal source both genotypes. had positive interaction with at this concentration to produce best caulogenic response terms paramount length (3.01 cm) an overriding fresh weight increment (402 mg) whereas same gave eminent number (9.8). Sucrose also carryover effect on shoots some extent but proved be inferior sorbitol. Results yielded highly indigent comparison other sources. Rootstocks exhibited inconsistency regarding their aptitude proliferation. recognized as better rootstock acquisition 1.05 cm 154.6 mg while stood maximum 2.3.
