摘要: Purpose Distance stereoacuity is used to monitor deterioration of intermittent exotropia (IXT), but variability has not been studied rigorously. The purpose this study was assess the over one day in children with IXT. Design Prospective cohort study. Methods Twelve IXT were recruited. Stereoacuity assessed using Frisby Davis test and Randot at distance, Preschool tests near. Tests repeated three or four times day, least two hours between assessments. main outcome measure variable defined as a change by more log levels any time points day. Results Variable distance found five (42%) 12 patients. Four (33%) patients demonstrated results test, whom also showed test. One patient had only. Nine (75%) completed near testing; (22%) nine stereoacuity. Two (11%) In some cases, changed from measurable on assessment nil another. Conclusions Nearly half show marked changes course single When based isolated measures, an apparent visits should be interpreted caution.
