摘要: Abstract Surface composites are suitable materials for engineering applications encountering surface interactions. Friction stir processing (FSP) is emerging as a promising technique making composites. FSP can improve properties such abrasion resistance, hardness, strength, ductility, corrosion fatigue life and formability without affecting the bulk of material. Initially, was used in aluminum magnesium based alloys. Recently including steel titanium alloys have also been reported.
