摘要: SummaryFinger and palm prints of 126 male 55 female Yoruba are reported using both quantitative qualitative procedures. In general, the fit into established geographical gradients for sub-saharan African populations. Whorl frequencies on digits relatively low, as is frequency palmar patterning. Finger ridge-counts, those males in particular high by standards, much higher than previously data from Nigeria. Due to lack patterns geographic variation total finger ridge-count, little can be made these findings at present.
