摘要: Dermal ridges express patterns of asymmetry and polarization across the fingers that can characterize human populations. They are also known somatic markers teratogenic insults. This study documents pattern dermal among Ogoni people Nigeria. Ink prints were obtained from 406 apparently healthy subjects ridge types whorls, arches, ulnar loops radial identified their ten digits established for each hand in sex.  Ulnar polarized preferentially to III –V; arches I-II; whorls I, II, IV; II. Female had higher counts (P 0.05) than males, while male (P<0.01) females. The findings this form useful baseline data subsequent longitudinal cytogenetic studies on people.   Key words: Dermatoglyphics, Ogoni, ridges,
