摘要: This study investigates the effects of corpus use on second language (L2) vocabulary learning as well influence moderators effectiveness. Based 29 studies representing 38 unique samples, all which met several criteria for inclusion (e.g. with control groups), we found an overall positive medium-sized effect L2 both short-term (77 posttest sizes; Hedges’ g = 0.74, SE 0.09, p < .001) and long-term periods (34 follow-up 0.64, 0.17, .001). Furthermore, large variation in adjusted mean sizes across was revealed. Above all, different dimensions knowledge, in-depth knowledge (i.e. referential meanings syntactic features vocabulary) associated a size. Moreover, results revealed that learners’ proficiency interaction types, training, duration) magnitude effectiveness improving learning.
