摘要: Besides androgenic dependence, other hormones also influence the prostate biology. Prolactin has been described as an important hormone associated with maintenance of prostatic morphophysiology; however, there is a lack information on involvement prolactin during development and growth. This study aimed to evaluate whether perinatal modulation interferes rat ventral (VP) maturation. Therefore, or bromocriptine (an inhibitor release from pituitary) were administered Sprague Dawley rats postnatal Day (PND) 12 PND 21 35. Animals then killed serum hormonal quantification, VP morphological–stereological immunohistochemical analyses western blotting reactions employed. Our results demonstrate that blockage increased testosterone 21, which reflected increase in anogenital distance. Although did not interfere weight, it modified morphology by dilating acinar lumen reducing epithelial cell height. activated signal transducer activator transcription (STAT) downstream pathway, androgen receptor expression proliferation. In addition, cytokeratin 18, marker luminal-differentiated cells. conclusion, responds through mechanism increasing proliferative response dynamics differentiation, especially animals treated for more prolonged period.
