摘要: Abstract Sixty-eight primary head and neck squamous cell carcinomas nine carcinoma lines were examined for mutations homozygous deletions of the p16/CDKN2 gene. Homozygous gene found in three lines, a mutation was detected another line. In contrast, none tumors showed 11 68 had missense or nonsense base changes. Seven contained somatic mutations. Five tumors, including one that also mutation, probable polymorphism at codon 140 leading to an amino acid change from Ala Thr. Three these apparent 98, which did not lead change. The frequency differs markedly between (44%) (10%) suggesting while may play role tumorigenesis some carcinomas, inactivation probably occurs more frequently as result adaptation culture.
