摘要: Abstract The unevenness of solar photovoltaic energy output poses a number issues that reduce its capability to be considered reliable substitute for fossil fuels. For instance, plants convert and inject in the grid during daytime, but fail do so bad weather conditions or at night. Variable also render injection planning impossible, causing power plant most often unpredictable. Furthermore, all converted immediately injected risk creating imbalances electric distribution lines. A nation-wide system characterized by large penetration wind sources can therefore extremely difficult manage cannot dependable. core issue is how improve reliability electricity production from such renewable sources. One way tackle unpredictability add an storage system. Many technologies are already available, although none them has stood out one only answer problem. Different specific require different technologies, this why combination solutions, rather than single one, right approach storing energy. In paper, hydrogen been designed simulated using real-life data taken PV 1616.8 kW p successfully operating central Italy. aim understand main financial feasibility infrastructure institutional investors deploy technology. results show capable guaranteeing grid, making as dependable traditional fossil-fuel plants. advantages substitution numerous: sizable decreases green-house toxic gases pollutants, healthier environment, total independence foreign fuel imports, local job creations, just name few.
