摘要: Colonisation and wood degradation by three brown-rot fungi, Coniophora puteana, Gloeophyllum trabeum Poria placenta, were studied in of Norway spruce (Picea abies) subjected to different treatments: hygro-thermal (TH) (160 180°C), mechanical densification thermo-hygro-mechanical (THM) treatment including post-treatment under saturated steam conditions at temperatures (140, 160 180°C). The weight loss induced all fungi was lowest THM-densified post-treated 180°C. Highest losses recorded for controls TH-treated wood. Fungal colonisation varied its intensity, depending on the applied Hyphal growth abundant, whereas densified it sparse confined predominantly cell lumina earlywood tracheids. Also, penetration large-diameter hyphae associated impeded occlusion lumina, with irreversible compression (loss shape memory). In contrast C. puteana P. which showed typical behaviour, G. frequently hyphal tunnelling within secondary walls tracheids xylem ray parenchyma thermally treated Such never observed
