摘要: Previous genetic association studies of the fibrinogen gene cluster have identified associations with plasma levels. These are typically limited to measured among European-descent populations. We sought replicate previous well-known variants and fibrinogen. then identify characterise novel several haematological traits in three racial/ethnic genotyped 25 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) 2,631 non-Hispanic whites, 2,108 blacks, 2,073 Mexican-Americans from Third National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES). performed SNP tests for fibrinogen, mean platelet volume, distribution width, count, white blood cell serum triglycerides. Five previously replicated our study whites blacks. two between decreased fibrinogen: rs2227395 (p=0.0007; whites) rs2070022 (p=0.001; Mexican-Americans). Several SNPs were also associated traits: rs6050 width whites; rs2066879 increased respectively, whites;rs2227409 rs2070017 rs6063 blacks; rs4220 rs2227409 rs2066860 rs1800792 triclyceride levels, counts Mexican-Americans. successfully data confirm importance levels as well suggest this may pleiotropic effects on traits.
