摘要: Several “high throughput methods” have been introduced into research and routine laboratories during the past decade. Providing a new approach to analysis of genomic alterations RNA or protein expression patterns, these techniques generate plethora data in relatively short time, promise deliver clues diagnosis treatment human cancer. Along with revolutionary developments, tools for interpretation large sets became necessary are now widely available. Tissue microarray (TMA) technology is one tools. It based on idea applying miniaturisation high intact tissues. The potential scientific value TMAs modern demonstrated logarithmically increasing number studies. spectrum additional applications widening rapidly, comprises quality control histotechnology, longterm tissue banking, continuing education pathologists. This review covers basic technical aspects TMA production discusses current future technology.
