摘要: Longitudinal relaxation times (T1) of 20 brain tumors were calculated in vivo using a whole-body magnetic resonance unit with 0.15-T resistive magnet. Images employing standard inversion recovery pulse sequences different intervals between the 180 degrees and selective excitation pulses compared on every point 256 X pixel matrix. Tumor, white matter, gray matter sampled from each patient computed T1 image for measurement. Astrocytomas, neurinomas, metastatic showed longer values than did meningiomas. Lipomas had shortest T1s. It is concluded that it difficult to predict histological types by measurement alone because wide variation times, but can be helpful differentiating when additional information about patient's condition known.
