摘要: Abstract The degree of equality or equity in reward allocations made by men and women is explored three studies. Study 1 was a classroom survey which administered after the members had completed series team assignments. When asked to indicate anonymously whether they would share some points with who earned fewer, more often said yes no, contradicting patterns found much literature. Studies 2 3 examined hypothesis that under public conditions behave as tradition previous literature suggest, allocating rewards equitably equally, respectively. In private, however, reverse themselves, each preferring otherwise forbidden option. results confirmed prediction: when anticipating disclosure their decisions, chose divide credits equally between themselves less deserving partner, but assured anonymity, equal equitable allocations. are discussed light both childhood socialization adult constraints on sex role performances.
