摘要: Abstract Sustainable and greener synthesis of intracellular gold nanoparticles using mushroom Flammulina velutipes is reported. Incubation a in chloroaurate solution resulted the immobilization stable inside mycelia. Transmission electron microscopic (TEM) analysis revealed presence (⩽20 nm) mycelia, primarily on inner surface cell membrane. Inductively coupled plasma-optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) that accumulated concentration ranged from 64.4 to 330.5 mg kg −1 dry weight (DW) The reduction Au 3+ ions 0 stabilization occurred within 1 h, formation fcc crystalline was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. This facile without any toxic chemicals or technologically expensive processes used as heterogeneous catalyst organic pollutants methylene blue (MB) 4-nitrophenol (4NP). reaction follows pseudo-first order kinetics with rate constant 0.0529 min 0.1236 min for MB 4NP, respectively. biological process biomatrixing metal catalytic reactions simple, nontoxic, environmentally benign, economically viable compared chemical synthetic routes.
