摘要: Abstract Objective To explore and validate a novel stimulation analysis paradigm proposed to monitor spatial distribution temporal changes of the excitability state in patients with lobe epilepsy (TLE). Methods We use intermittent pulse frequency range 10–20 Hz. A quantitative measure spectral phase de-modulation, relative clustering index (rPCI) was applied evoked EEG signals, measured from electrodes implanted hippocampal formation. Results found that interictal periods, high values rPCI recorded specific sites were correlated most probable seizure onset (SOS). Furthermore we certain locations shorter time intervals next seizure. Conclusions Our clinical findings indicate although precise moment ictal transitions is general unpredictable, it may be possible estimate probability occurrence some epileptic seizures. Significance The for probabilistic forecasting upcoming seizures warranted. measurements used guide interventions aim modifying local tissue ultimately might prevent transitions.
