摘要: Summary A model for the reproduction of runting‐stunting syndrome (RSS) broiler chickens is described. In this model, groups at least 90 day‐old were inoculated (per os) with various tissue homo‐genates or virus preparations. During first week post‐inoculation, birds examined development histopathological changes in their intestines. At day 14 remaining weighed and tested elevations plasma amylase activity pancreatic atrophy. Bacteria‐free intestinal homogenates from different ages, taken flocks which developed RSS, regularly induced a lower mean live‐weight treated birds.
