摘要: Therapeutic strategies attacking oral squamous cell carcinoma have not essentially succeeded to improve long-term prognosis and overall survival over the last decades. Therefore, in this study, we aimed illuminate molecular regulation of angiogenesis tumour entity order demask novel markers or therapeutic approach. A panel significant transcriptional alterations angiogenic genes 83 cancer samples was established by comparison 30 healthy mucosa with microarray technique. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) performed trace signalling cascade from gene protein level. distinctive expression profile VEGFA, EFNB2, PECAM1/CD31, ANGPT1 ANGPT2 revealed: were found overexpressed 84 % 95 % samples. In contrast, CD31 downregulated 80 % IHC confirmed results analysis. Tumours lymphatic spread showed higher rates EFNB2 moderately differentiated tumours VEGFA small tumours, respectively. The ANGPT1/ transcription ratio decreased larger especially without spread. characteristic established. specific overexpression typical decrease give weight angiopoietins as prognostic factors potential targets.
