摘要: Using the quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) technique, we demonstrate that contribution of Hg adsorption and absorption on sensor response profile can be distinguished by studying dynamic curve QCM based vapor sensors employ an ultra-thin film Au in range 10 to 40 nm thickness as sensitive layer. The magnitudes QCMs were extrapolated zero (ETZT) attempt determine adsorbed magnitude profile. In general, ratio absorbed films is found decrease with increased concentration. Furthermore, same was observed increasing thickness. for example contain content 43.8% 16.4%, respectively, balance attributed absorption/amalgamation, when exposed concentration 10.55 mg m−3 a period 14 hours operating temperature 28 °C. addition, characterized using secondary ion mass spectroscopy depth profiling order study diffusion behaviour surfaces. It deduced reduce accumulation thin films, non-continuous type (similar layer morphology) would more functional where quick desorption processes are required.
