摘要: Integrins are cell adhesion molecules that mediate numerous developmental processes in addition to a variety of acute physiological events. Two reports implicate Drosophila b integrin, bPS, olfactory behavior. To further investigate the role integrins olfaction, we used Gal4-driven expression RNA interference (RNAi) transgenes knock down myospheroid (mys), gene encodes bPS. Expression mys-RNAi wing reduced bPS immunostaining and produced morphological defects associated with loss-of-function mutations mys, demonstrating this strategy knocked mys function. antennae, antennal lobes, mushroom bodies via two Gal4 lines, H24 MT14, disrupted behavior but did not alter locomotor abilities or central nervous system structure. Olfactory was normal flies expressed other lines specifically targeted projection neurons, bodies, bitter sweet gustatory Pox neuro neurons. Our studies confirm is important for development function system. Additionally, our demonstrate required behavioral responses both aversive attractive odorants. results consistent model which mediates events within lobes influence odorant sensitivity.
