摘要: The ac susceptibility (χac) of a 300 A Gd film grown on W(110) has been investigated in-situ under UHV conditions. full analysis χac is given in which the domain and paramagnetic signals are clearly separated. theoretical simulation para- ferromagnetic contributions allow precise discussion transition temperature, Hopkinson maximum anisotropy energy Keff. It at least factor ten larger than that polycrystalline bulk Gd. Keff follows power law (Tc − T)K with 3β < K 5β. Annealing as-grown decreases Keff(T) by five.
